"BEAT THE HEAT" 
Beat the Heat is a pilot Spay-it-Forward program offering low cost spay/neuter services to residents of Eastern Ontario who own or care for unfixed female cats.

Our mission is to stop the suffering cruelty, and neglect, and improve the quality of life of both pets and homeless animals by reducing overpopulation and promoting animal advocacy and wellness, while alleviating the ever-present pressure off rescues and shelters in our community.

Do you have a pregnant cat, or a cat who has recently given birth?
Has your cat had multiple litters?
PLEASE BE PART OF THE SOLUTION 
Eastern Ontario Cats is pleased to offer a Beat The Heat Program for pregnant or nursing mother cats and their kitten. we will provide your cat with a FREE spay, microchip, FVRCP & Rabies vaccination. To qualify you must surrender your entire litter of kittens to the rescue, so that they too will be spayed/neutered and will find loving and responsible homes.

Please note income is not a factor. Qualifying cats will get spayed/neutered and end their contribution to the overpopulation- as well as gain the health benefits that alterations provide.
