How can you help?
Recognizing the enormity of the challenges our society faces with the already over population of cats, Eastern Ontario Cats is dedicated to making a lasting impact. Spaying just ONE female can stop the cycle of thousands of cats. While our efforts are driven by our organization’s focus, to spay and neuter cats and kittens and find them forever homes, we spread a wide net by investing in a variety of programs.
DONATE
In the few short months that we have been in operation in Eastern Ontario we have come to the aid of more than 100 cats and kittens—and all this has been possible thanks to donations from people who care about helping homeless animals. Every dollar you donate is used to provide for the needs of the cats and kittens in our care.
Money we receive funds the cost of food, litter, and veterinary fees. Essential veterinary procedures are our largest expense, and include spay/neuter surgery, dental surgery, emergency surgery, examinations, vaccinations, flea and ear mite treatment.

FOSTER
Between the time cats and kittens are rescued and when they can be permanently placed for adoption, foster homes provide an important stepping stone.
Our goal is find wonderful foster homes that can meet the needs of different cats that come into care. Some cats maybe shy and need more time, others may be a litter of kittens that need more care, time and space. No matter your situation we will try to work with you and the needs of the cat to make everything a positive and rewarding experience.
You supply the love, and a safe space, and we supply the rest! Click the button below to fill out an application today!
VOLUNTEER
We are 100% volunteer based, and have no paid staff. We offer students and adults a way to give back to their community and make a positive impact on the lives of families that adopt from us and abandoned animals a new chance at life. Become part of the solution and create a lastly success story by joining our passionate, dedicated team today!
We have scheduled volunteer shifts at many of our partnering stores. We will sign off on hours for students looking to complete their 40 hour community service for high school. We also offer hours of volunteering to families with students who foster.

We always need volunteers to help with other volunteering tasks including but not limited to: driving cats to vet appointments, food pick up and drop off, bringing cats to our partner stores, fundraising and more.
